Westbound Adventures is the UK’s remotest RYA Sail Cruising School and has been based on Barra for 12 years during the summer months.

New for 2009 is the opportunity for one day sailing tuition around Barra departing Castlebay 10 am and returning there 6 pm. This will operate during those weeks when there is no 5 day RYA course running. Day sailing will be weather dependent and bookable 24 hours in advance. This may be of interest to visitors on the island. One day sailing tuition will operate with a minimum of 3 and maximum of 5 persons.
