Sea Breezes Self-Catering is situated in Bruernish, an idyllic crofting and fishing village. The accommodation boasts superb views of Barra's hills and shoreline, and islands to the north. Barra's beautiful long white sandy beaches, lochs and hills will occupy your time with fishing, hill-walking, sight seeing, wildlife and other outdoor activities such as golf. At the end of an enjoyable day you can relax in front of a cosy peat fire in modern, well-furnished and nicely decorated accommodation. Sea Breezes is near to local amenities, within easy walking distance of Heathbank Hotel, and well served by public transport.

Sea Breezes comprises of two self-catering apartments.

Number 1: bedrooms : 1 double bedroom with en suite facilities; 1 twin bedroom with the option of an extra bed; 1 single bedroom; large lounge with colour TV; dining room; well equipped modern kitchen including microwave; utility room with washer/dryer; public bathroom, and a large hall.

Number 2: 1 double or twin bedroom; well equipped modern kitchen including microwave; 1 shower room; lounge with colour TV and two small bed settees.

A deposit of £50 per week is required, and the outstanding payment made one month prior to arrival.

Both apartments are modern, well furnished and nicely decorated with ample linen provided - including towels. Central Heating is provided throughout the house and flat, together with an open open fire in the lounge of the main house and electric fires in both. In front of the house there is a lawn with garden furniture, ideal for sitting out in Summer and at the back there is ample space for children to play and washing lines.

Private off-road parking is available.

The inscription on the bottle says: ''Federal Law forbids sale or reuse of this bottle'' Thousands of cases went down with HMS ''POLITICIAN'' in 1941. Many bottles were ''saved'' from the wreck by locals, many went down. Sea currents in the area were very kind to Bruernish as they brought many bottles to the rocky shoreline, where this bottle was found recently. Happy hunting!
